This morning, I completed the first 500 kms of the 4000 kms of this new work assignment trip to Latvia with my motorcycle, where I will work for the German War Graves Commission. Now, my bike has two weeks of vacation and will be waiting for me in a hangar of Air Transport Squadron 62, while the Bundeswehr is kindly taking over my onward transport.
